Christina Scourlas

Registered Nurse, FYM Certified Practitioner, Yoga Practitioner

Christina’s transition from the high-intensity world of nursing to the healing practices of holistic health reflects her deep commitment to personal well-being and her passion for supporting others on their healing journeys. Raised in Montreal, Canada, Christina’s compassion for others was nurtured early on, leading her to pursue a nursing career. After earning her bachelor’s degree, she began her nursing practice, primarily in the ICU, during the challenging times of the COVID pandemic.

Despite her dedication to patient care, the demands of the ICU took a toll, leading to burnout and emotional exhaustion. It was during this time that Christina discovered yoga as a form of self-care, which quickly evolved into a passion. The practice provided Christina with physical strength, emotional resilience, and spiritual grounding—tools that empowered her to heal herself and reconnect with her purpose.

A profound loss in her personal life further deepened her desire for holistic healing and renewal. In November 2023, Christina made the transformative decision to leave the hospital setting and fully embrace her new path in holistic health.

Today, Christina is a Registered Nurse, a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, and a Functional Yoga Medicine Certified Practitioner. Drawing on her medical background, she offers a unique blend of physical therapy, yoga, and sound healing to support her clients’ wellness.

Christina specializes in mobility exercises, private yoga therapy, hot yoga, Yin yoga, and sound healing. With a deep understanding of anatomy and movement patterns, she helps her clients address mobility restrictions and movement dysfunctions through tailored exercises and therapeutic techniques. Her background in private yoga therapy ensures each session is personalized, promoting healing through mindful, intentional movement.

As a Functional Yoga Medicine Certified Practitioner, Christina integrates traditional medical knowledge with holistic practices. She helps clients restore balance not only in their bodies but also in their energetic systems, utilizing the healing frequencies of crystal bowls and tuning forks to harmonize the body’s energy and promote deep relaxation. These sound healing modalities support physical recovery, emotional release, and overall well-being.

Christina’s approach is compassionate and individualized. Whether she’s guiding clients through hot yoga sessions to detoxify and build strength or facilitating Yin yoga to stretch and release tension from deep within the joints and tissues, Christina emphasizes the mind-body connection in every practice.

Outside of her professional life, Christina enjoys the companionship of her dog and values time spent with her close-knit circle of friends and family. Her holistic approach continues to inspire those she works with, empowering them to cultivate a greater sense of well-being and inner peace.
