The following foods can cause inflammation when consumed:
- Fast food consumption
- 6.5 % of adults eat at fast food restaurants
- Fast foods contributed more than one third of total calorie intake
- Lower levels of vitamin A, carotenoids, vitamin D, calcium, magnesium, fruits, and vegetables
- Increased intake of soft drinks
- Refined foods = Cytokines = inflammation= accelerated aging
